BP sponsored nine Olympic athletes fighting for the gold. We created a 360-campaign — including 18 spots — to introduce Team USA to the watching world.

I combed through press videos, interviews, and athlete footage. Somewhere in there, I came up with a wealth of inspiration. I used it to write 18 spots—two for each athlete, split into two concepts. One set of videos tells the athlete’s story. The rest tells the story of the people who stood behind them, just as BP did. As the athletes progressed (or not), we curated and released the spots for broadcast, YouTube, and ESPN.com.
